My experience spans several critical areas, including the review of employer pension plans, resolution of industry classification disputes in Customs, development of tax haven profiles in the international tax arena, and contributions to the government procurement manual for services.In the early 2000s, I discovered my passion for research, specializing in tax compliance behavior. Currently, I focus on tax compliance programs, leveraging evidence-based behavioral science theories to analyze and test the factors that influence both short-term and long-term tax-related decision-making. Our overarching goal is to establish a robust body of evidence that senior officials can confidently reference when addressing inquiries about their tax compliance strategies and resource allocation.My team and I are committed to enhancing the tax compliance experience for current and future taxpayers, striving to make the process more manageable, even if it may never be completely enjoyable (!!)
