Working as a Business Development Administrator in the EDI Space. Since starting my journey in 2022, I've had the incredible opportunity to learn about EDI in a diverse range of organizations, from global corporations and public sector entities to educational institutions and charities – all within the UK and beyond. While EDI was new territory for me initially, I quickly developed a strong interest, and I'm constantly exploring its depths.My role has allowed me to develop valuable skills beyond business development. I've honed my project management and coordination abilities, become a pro at business communication, mastered CRM management and reporting, and continue to be a lifelong learner. Networking with brilliant individuals is a cherry on top!Before diving into EDI, I spent years in retail, where I honed my customer service and organizational skills. Leading and managing teams, meeting business needs, and overseeing store operations from opening to closing were all experiences I truly enjoyed. This background instilled in me a natural leadership drive and a commitment to taking responsibility and exceeding expectations.Originally from India, I completed my undergraduate studies there with a BSc in Psychology. However, my thirst for knowledge led me abroad for postgraduate studies. Landing at Brunel University, I graduated with an MSc in Management Studies – a perfect foundation for my current path.Outside of work, I'm a self-proclaimed talker- who lives for exploring new places and indulging in a good cup of coffee (never say no!). I also proudly hold the title of "cat mom" – with five feline friends back in India and one keeping me company here in London. They definitely keep me on my toes!I also have a side hustle like most people these days- Dog & Pet Sitting and Boarding. I host furry friends when their parents need a break or have to travel. Its always fun to host my furry buddies and enjoy their company in my humble abode.
