Managed the flow of information for the DC Democratic State Committee throughout the last part of the 2012 Election Cycle. In the run up to the 2012 Democratic National Convention, I was on point for disseminating Obama for America and DNC communications materials, and keeping party members informed about the current issues of the campaign.

My project responsibilities were focused on the HD Woodson Senior High School, a $100MM design/build project in Ward 7, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall. On HD Woodson I was responsible for holding orientation sessions for subcontractors so that they could understand Davis Bacon wages and reporting; certified payroll compliance; as well as local hiring and reporting requirements. My work was focused largely on working with tenants during the Hot Properties crisis in DC (helping tenants access better housing after their current apartments were condemned by the city). I also worked on organizing and outreach to tenants who would eventually exercise their tenant purchase rights, and did outreach and counseling for the Alexandria Homeownership Assistance Program (HAP).
