Epmo Delivery Manager
Current- Develop, implement, and maintain a divisional strategy in line with the organizational strategy, designed to enhance or reliably sustain existing services over the longer term, and to proactively identify opportunities for new or amended services.- Provide guidance, documentation, and metrics related to the practices involved in managing and delivering programs and projects within the organization.- Provide input for continuous improvement to schedule management practices and templates including strategies for automation of manual tasks.- Guide the Program and Project Manages in problem solving to address issues that may arise during the delivery of the programs or projects. - Monitor progress and ensure regular program reports on Delivery data and overall project status.- Check and challenge the validity of schedule data and critical path based on understanding of the program or project objectives for the specific delivery phase.- Support ongoing reporting of earned value analysis (EVA) metrics for schedule performance indicator (SPI) and cost performance indicator (CPI).- Ensures the mechanisms of change management (plans, processes, tools) are in place and effectively executed for both business and technology. - Monitor and measure performance of divisional goals against Payments Canada’s strategic goals, as well as plans in support of the corporate objectives.- Manages and/or validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures reporting then to the EPMO Director.- Provide strong leadership to the divisional team, ensuring the necessary tools and support are in place to enable the team to be successful.- Attract and retain professionals with the skill sets and competencies needed to deliver Payments Canada’s strategic priorities.
