Initially employed to launch the Vikan Hygiene System range of colour coded brushware for the food processing industry. During this period, Pescatech became the fasted growing distributor in the world and as a result I was invited to speak at the Distributor Conferences on how we were achieving these successes. I later became the General Sales and and was responsible for growing the sales of the full range of products at Pescatech including:TQI (Fish Processing Additives) – required me to do trials at customers to prove efficacy of the product range. This included land trials (including in Mozambique) as well as sea trials onboard fishing vessels. Roser (Stainless Steel Hygiene Equipment),Unimerco (Blades for fish processing machines).Appointed a National Sales Team and as well as Sales Administration Team responsible for all training, goal setting, monitoring and mentoringEstablished a network of sub-distributors which included research best partners, trained their sales teams, provided regular product motivation, etc.Assisted with the implementation of various CRM systems, Maximiser, Act, etc.As Marketing Manager, some of the activities I was involved in were: • Planning exhibitions from budget through to manning the stands, • Presenting and exhibiting at various Industry Organisation Events, Seminars, Conferences. • Created various mailing campaigns, telephone marathons, etc.• Created a strong network of contacts using them to recommend us for projects.For Vikan and TQI I was responsible for all orders and planning of stock. This included forecasting, configuration containers and budgeting.
