I will use assessment and treatment techniques from neurology, integrating this with manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, neuro-cognitive and neuro-visual rehabilitation, and functional rehabilitation.The other aspect of my work is to develop clinical services in my areas of expertise, incorporating new innovations, trusted partners and referral networks. I am interested in being part of bringing new innovations into clinical practice such as: * Advanced prosthetics, especially the lower limb* Robotic exoskeletons and the newer, slimline KAFO’s* Objective systems for ease of clinician assessment in Concussion – Vestibular, ocular, balance testing, neck strength testing and monitoring protocols* Concussion rehabilitation protocols and return to sport/activity integrated testing* Integrating Neuro-cognitive and Neuro-visual / Sports Vision into rehabilitation – adding that extra layer of brain training to enhance performance at any level* Group training for function or performance integrating strength and conditioning with neuro-cognitive, vestibular, and neuro-visual training Show less
