Hi! My name is Tanisha Bhat, and I am a Business Administration major on the Pre-Med track at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am passionate about integrating business strategies with healthcare innovation to enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency.Throughout my academic journey, I’ve cultivated strong skills in problem-solving, client support, and project management. As an officer in my National Honor Society chapter, I led initiatives that boosted member participation from 50 to over 150 by spearheading social media campaigns and organizing team-building events. I also volunteered as a Sci-Teen Volunteer at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, where my team and I executed special events such as the Butterfly Crafts exhibit and T-Rex Week to engage visitors. These leadership roles taught me the value of collaboration, communication, and strategic planning in driving meaningful growth and engagement.In addition to my leadership experience, I’ve gained hands-on insights into healthcare through internships and shadowing in neurology and dentistry. I hold a Clinical Medical Assistant Certification and have developed clinical and administrative skills, including streamlining data entry processes for SOAP notes in healthcare management software such as Epic Health and Open Dental. These experiences have deepened my understanding of healthcare operations and strengthened my ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.I’m excited to explore opportunities where I can apply my combined knowledge of business and healthcare.
