My role included client and account management, selling our post production services for Picture, Sound and VFX, and quoting for film, broadcast and streaming projects. I worked on championing up-and-coming talent, building their reels and getting them introduced to up-and-coming filmmakers in the industry. Aiming to facilitate future generations of creative talent and filmmakers in their growth, thus helping cultivate a strong industry on a big picture level.

Born out of the Skin and Bones offline editorial department, The Assembly (now Smile and Wave Post) is an editorial representation and post production services company. I began post producing for one editor and was an active part in growing the company to a roster of 15 freelance editors and 4 full time staff. We provided post production solutions for advertising agencies, production companies and directly to brands. I managed the studio space which included two busy edit suites, managed client service and hospitality and ensured our editors were supported while they worked out of house with a client or remotely from home. I sold our services and talent, quoted for clients and managed our editors calendars and all in studio bookings. My greatest joy in this role was having a tangible affect on an editor's career and reel. It was as much about matching a client and creative ask with the right editor as it was about working on getting our editors the jobs that allowed them to move up in their careers.
