Slingshot is founded in 2017 and is the largest venture capital fund in the Netherlands that is exclusively supported by entrepreneurs, now operating two funds with over €120 million in capital under management. It invests in consumer centric business that fit the three criteria: “Strong Brands. Happy Customers. Healthy Margins.” Since its inception, Slingshot has invested in over 25 opportunities including Check (shared mobility), Casper (dark kitchen concept), Wild Cosmetics (refillable, natural deodorant), Boldking (European leader in online grooming products for men), STOX Energy Socks (innovative compression socks), The Fabricant (digital online fashion house).

Responsible for the Mergers & Acquisitions department of KPN. Direct report to the CFO and heading a team of five dedicated M&A professionals. Developed and executed a pro-active M&A strategy and closed over 25 acquisitions, mainly focusing on telecom B2C and B2B, telecom infrastructure and IT including buy-and-build of cloud services, cyber security services, work spaces and health services. Divested over 25 parts of KPN with the team as well. Divested, amongst others, the mobile networks in Germany and Belgium, the data center operations, consulting activities, parts of the international network and shared hosting activities. In 2021, announced the joint venture with Dutch pension fund APG to further accelerate fiber roll-out in the Netherlands and to connect ~1 million additional households and businesses.
