My role involves providing a comprehensive talent acquisition function and service to both the company and external clients. These involve Workforce planning, sourcing of candidates, advertising of vacancies, conducting interviews and assessments as well as recommending candidates for appointments. The above is executed amongst the various company brands, which include Clicks, The Body Shop, Musica, UPD, Direct Medicines and Unicorn - a subsiduary of the Group.This role is both strategic and operational in fuction.The value of my role is to ensure the effective attraction of core talent through consistent and effective recruitment and selection practices in order to meet the Business objectives by providing cost effective hiring solutions.This is achieved by attracting, identifying and selecting top talent through fair and best practice recruitment methods in compliance with labour legislation, company policies and procedures.This also encompasses the maintenance of positive, productive and professional relationships with all external and internal stakeholders.In addition input on projects, developmental initiatives, talent management and restructure or competency profiling form part of the role as and when required.
