In a previous life, I worked as a commercial litigator solicitor in the City before I moved into legal recruitment. I am proud to say that I am now one of the directors of The Reignite Academy, as well as Senior Career Consultant. For the last 4 years i have been working for The Reignite Academy. The purpose of our business is to help predominantly female lawyers return to the legal profession after a career break. I interview candidates and recruit for law firms and companies, coaching the candidates to streamline their successful re-integration into the work place.I am also a self employed professional Career and Life Coach. Until 2019, I ran Giraffe Coaching helping women find a new focus after a career break and now I career coach 18-25year olds who are starting out on their careers in what is still, a very crowded job market.My aim is to reassure them that, give them the confidence to sell themselves in the cv, cover letter, applications and at interview. Through coaching and mentoring their aim was to help employees and their accompanying partners settle more quickly and smoothly in their new destination. They provided both emotional and practical support from the initial relocation right through to 18 months thereafter. They understood the critical inflection points involved in a relocation and aim to help at each of these points when employees or their partners are feeling vulnerable. As expats themselves, and trained life coaches, they feel best qualified to do this.ReloCoaching offered 3 primary services: settling in; career and recruitment support and spousal support for the non working partner. They prided themselves on how quickly they build a rapport with their clients and how smoothly they help them prioritise. Giraffe Coaching came about as a result of Tanja and Kate retraining as life coaches. Their aim was to help women like themselves reinvent themselves through coaching and workshops. Their programme of workshops, under the brand Positive Women, offered a one stop shop for women who have taken a career break or settled for a 'convenient' job whilst raising a family. They helped them find the confidence to step back into work, start their own business or find the 'thing' that makes life complete. Their workshops provided both practical advice and tools on confidence, social media, NLP, start ups and social media whilst being a perfect place to network with like-minded women with similar energy and vision.
