With more than 20 years of professional experience in communications and media, I am working for one of the top international financial institutions, the European Investment Bank. I’m currently coordinating our communications outside of the EU, having previously also overseen communication measurement, monitoring and planning functions and worked in content creation. Prior to joining the EIB I was the editor-in-chief of a weekly newspaper, a partner in a PR-agency consulting various private and public sector organizations, and working in political communications as advisor to the Prime Minister of Estonia. I have been tasked with corporate and marketing communication assignments, crisis communication situations, public affairs campaigns, development communications, sponsorship and CSR projects, event management, internal communications and employee branding, social media and digital. Projects that I have been involved in have recently won the European Excellence Award (in 2021 and 2020), the Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement (SABRE) award (in 2020), the Digital Communications Award (in 2019), to name a few. Thanks to working with organizations from a variety of sectors, from healthcare to finance, and from FMCG to development, I am able to come up with creative strategies to engage with stakeholders that lend their approach from their successful use in completely different industries.
