• Performing accounting procedures, e.g. A/R, A/P, time billing, Daily Income Journal, cash flow reporting, P/R entries, cost saving audits and daily/month end and/ year end close.• Responsible for the Financial Controller responsibilities for Gabeshiwigamig Niish LLC dba Big Sandy Lodge and Resort LLC and reporting to Maadaadizi Investments LLC.• Preparing financial statements, e.g. monthly financial reports, weekly forecasts to Management Team summarizing current and projected financial position• Month end closing (e.g. balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements)• Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing reports for management.• Assisting Corporate Director of Finance with annual financial by serving as company liaison with auditors• Financial Controller for three Homeowner Association accounts: A/P, A/R, ME close, Cash Flow, Audits, Rental Commissions, 1099 Filing, Financial reporting, Reconciliations and collections.• Producing financial data for local, Regional and Corporate management team upon request and assisting with other special Accounting projects from time to time• Performing analysis of operations on a monthly basis together with Regional Director of Finance.• Ensuring all active projects are covered by valid, binding contracts
