About Tanmay Agarwal

I am a Masters's student in Computer Science at Stanford University, working at the Stanford Vision and Learning Lab with Prof Fei Fei Li and Prof Jiajun Wu. I have also served as a TA for some of the largest classes at Stanford with hundreds of enrolled students. I am passionate about applying machine learning to address impactful real-world problems. Previously, I have worked on AI algorithms for underwater robots, agricultural drones, and mobile home robots, and have published my work at leading conferences. I was also an Editor at The Gradient, a digital AI-focused magazine, where I co-authored the bi-weekly newsletter(~20k subscribers). I previously was a Partner at Atland Ventures, a student-run Venture Capital firm where we invested in seed-stage companies across various industries.
