I have joined Sterling & Wilson Pvt. Ltd as G.E.T in July'19. After completion of my training, I have been taken as “Engineer Projects”. Afterwards, I have been given responsibility in “Sub-Contracts” for contract finalization & also working as "purchase engineer” in SCM.In procurement, my roles and responsibilities are as follows:- Floating enquiries to get techno commercial offers in time Evaluation of commercial offer received Cost base analysis to arrive cost to be finalized Post technical evaluation report, Negotiations with vendors Contract finalization ensuring zero risk Ensure availability of required documents post order for technical evaluation Contract management Ensuring timely delivery of material as per Project requirement including logistic Preparing Procurement tracker Required exposure in SAP MM Module. Required exposure of Import, Export, and freight forwarder New vendor development Periodic evaluation of vendors based on quality, delivery, and cost performance Payment follow-up with FinanceIn sub-contracts, my roles and responsibilities are as follows:- To ensure that all subcontracts associated with the projects are defined, awarded, planned, and efficiently executed in a systematic manner complying with company subcontracts procedures and within/too the budget allocated of the projects. PR to PO Conversion in SAP Vendor / Subcontractor identification, shortlisting, technical discussion, negotiations, and finalisation. Subcontractor planning – Preparation of Subcontractor plan, performance review. Receipt of requisitions for subcontracting, preparation of detailed scope matrix and floating of RFQ’s to multiple vendors. Receipt and evaluation of bids. Organising kick off meetings with L1, L2 & L3 vendors. Obtaining procurement approvals as per SOP for work order placement. Preparing subcontractor site mobilisation plans. Solving disputes between subcontractor and project site team. To ensure that all the subcontracts are executed, best commercial benefits are achieved. Vendor management and development. Providing support to sales team during Pre bid stage of any project. Preparing a data base of Subcontractors/Vendors as per their credentials and expertise. Process for Work Order amendment.
