• As part of our company's long-term plan, I spearheaded the data science and analytics programme, which aims to replace legacy applications with next-generation data-centric solutions for the Insurance domain.• Together with a group of data modellers, ETL developers, business analysts and data analysts drove the creation of data models that can generate over 700 key performance indicators (KPIs). Furthermore, we created over two hundred Business Intelligence (BI) reports for immediate use across all major functional areas.• Conceived and developed Management Information Dashboards to monitor and report on KPIs in the areas of customer service, product development, strategic planning, and advertising and public relations.• Developed interpretable machine learning models for customer analytics, product analytics, cohort analysis, and sentiment analysis after exploring a wide range of supervised and unsupervised methods, including regression, decision trees, random forests, bagging, boosting, clustering, SVM, collaborative filtering, and deep learning methods like LSTM and Transformers.• In order to meet the needs of a wider range of customers, we diversified our solution architecture from SAP Business Objects to include Microsoft Power BI and Sisense.• Successfully delivered the BI reporting solution for clients in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Egypt generating considerable revenue.• Since implementing our BI reporting solution, our clients have been able to decommission 70% of their legacy code that was previously used to produce business reports.• Supervised scrum meetings to keep tabs on the projects and mitigate any potential threats to the timely and successful delivery of the solution to the client. Participated as a leader in conversations concerning requirement prioritization, product backlog grooming, estimate development, and resource planning. Facilitated customer governance meetings to share delivery status and discuss platform UAT rollout.
