Nanjunda Rao,Principal Research Scientist,IISc,BangaloreI worked on a project titled " Establishing Fracture Properties of Cement Stabilized Rammed Earth Material in Wet Condition ". Three Point Bending Tests were conducted on Single Edge Notched (SEN) beams of various sizes and notch to depth ratios.Experimental techniques like Digital Image Correlation ( DIC ) and Acoustic Emission (AE) were used.

I worked as ab intern in Quality Control Department and was responsible for supervising quality tests for various construction materials (cement,aggregates,subgrade materials etc.) being used on the site.I was also involved in the planning department where I assisted in reconciliation works. I also worked on project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project.I was exposed to various aspects involved in the construction of a mega project.
