Oversee 16 plus direct reports in a remote Mining Industry. Responsible for maintaining a fleet of 129 haul trucks and 98 pieces of support equipment (water trucks, motor graders, tire handlers, compactors, rubber tires, loaders, trackhoes and dozers). Manage labor demands and needs for the Client, including assisting direct reports with troubleshooting and repairs. Maintain individual development plans for all direct reports and assist with their growth as a heavy duty mechanic. Champion safety culture and perform the duties of the safety officer (graveyard shift).

Shop technician recently moved to field service in the mine. Job duties consist of component replacements, troubleshooting any and all issues on equipment. Recently appointed "shift fill-in lead". Work with a crew of 10 plus as a team and have a common goal of getting the equipment fixed right, on time and safely. Have an understanding of the Client's needs and work diligently to meet or exceed their expectations.

Continually assist with the design and improvement of the OLE patented Digitally Controlled Water Distribution System. Perform service trips for mines that need mechanical or technical assistance with the control system. Install new systems and work with project managers during commissioning. Service trips for other hydraulic systems (power units, filtration systems, circuit coolers, etc) were frequent in the field maintenance portion of my job duties. Build and install hydraulic hose assemblies and tube assemblies on mobile or stationary equipment. Project estimation for small hydraulic systems, hydraulic filtration jobs and DCWDS projects. Document control for DCWDS (drawings - electrical and fabrication, service reports, vendor and owner documents, technical service procedure guide development, template design for various OLE departments). Inventory control and procurement for DCWDS related items and hydraulic hose and fittings.
