Resident Assistant (RA) facilitates the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University. The RA develops a sense of community among residents as members of a floor, residents of a hall, and active participants in the residence life system. The RA serves as a positive role model to residents and peer staff members. The RA enforces the rules and policies of Residence Life, and the University. The RA acts as a liaison between residents and the University administration. Some duties include: Conflict management, Conduct floor meetings, and complete various technical documentation for inventory, occupancy, and incident reports

The Desk Assistant (DA) is an integral member of the University Housing team, serving as one of the first representatives of the Boise State University community. As a desk assistant should be able to manage administrative, customer service, and security-related tasks. Along with Responsible for independently developing quick solutions for resident’s issues. Communicated with residents and student staff to meet weekly goals. Maintained interdepartmental relations within Maintenance, Business, and Housing Department.
