I have had a multifaceted experience as an Intern at Broad Reach. I have gained experience in design and test engineering with the development of ground support equipment for avionics projects and delivered GSE for the OSIRIS-REx Thermal Emission Spectrometer. Labview and MATLAB have become strong skills of mine as I augmented telemetry VI's to post-process satellite GPS data. This required that I also become familiar with a Spirent GNSS Simulator. I've done the schematic design of various electronics using Mozaix Schematic Capture Software. Working in the space industry has given me an understanding of the many policies and standards surrounding procurement and manufacturing of parts. Some other learned skills include Perl language and Visual Basic, which was used to apply NASA and JPL standards to an excel spreadsheet to easily apply derating analysis to parts. I've done PCB design and fabrication oversight for prototyping, software development, and qualification testing. I had the opportunity to hold design reviews presentations teleconferences for a team of engineers and customers and made phone calls to vendors for product sourcing.
