I attended Texas A&M Maritime Academy where I obtained my 3rd Officers Unlimited License.Following graduation, I spent six years with Military Sealift Command to become a professional mariner. After spending my time in the commercial wold, I turned my interests to yachting where I worked as a First Officer on a 133' yacht running between Florida and Puerto Rico. After running the deck on a large motor yacht, I was offered a position in the Gulf of Mexico as a DPO helping support offshore platforms and drill ships.Strengths acquired overtime include an exceptional proficiency in watch standing, collision avoidance and navigational abilities. In addition, conning 230M+ vessels through the most congested water ways in the world equips me with a special skillset valuable to any team. Managing numerous crew members on deck and in the wheelhouse, while executing large scale-drills/training, honed my leadership capabilities.
