Works as a Leahy and Munitions vetter within the Bureaus of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, Office of Security and Human Rights (DRL/SHR) for the U.S. Department of State. Serve as the responsible party for utilizing the International Vetting and Security Tracking (INVEST) vetting system to vet all foreign security force units and individuals for U.S. assistance within the Near East Asia (NEA) region, to include 20 countries of strategic importance. Responsible for utilizing open-source material through the INVEST system to ensure that recipients of U.S. assistance are not associated with any Gross Violations of Human Rights (GVHR) as defined through the State Leahy law, Section 620M of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended (FAA), Department of Defense (DOD) Appropriations Act (DODAA). When applicable, communicates with Embassies in each of the 20 countries to rectify any derogatory information found, and make a final recommendation for support or denial of individuals or units. Utilizes the U.S. Exports system to conduct analysis and provide recommendations for approval or denial of munitions licenses and arms sales to the 20 countries in NEA. Additional duties include participating in interagency working groups and meetings, advising on country or region-specific security and human rights issues, and preparing drafts and coordination of policy memoranda. Attends and represents the office at weekly vetter meetings as well as regional and Bureau meetings.

Enforces only the highest productivity rates and quality standards to ensure that the Target guest is at the forefront in delivery standards. Responsible for the onboarding, training, individualized feedback, and personnel moves of the department. Approves leaves, plans assigned work, evaluates work, interviews candidates, provides advice, recommends awards, resolves complaints. Works closely with other departments in the building to ensure that daily volume goals are met and the business remains profitable each day to supply all 650 stores on the east coast.

Managed a group of more than 120 hourly team members in an eCommerce warehouse setting to consistently outperform the prescribed daily metrics for containers shipped. Oversaw and orchestrated the loading docks portion of the warehouse, label induction, and order picking to ensure that more than 30,000 packages per shift were fulfilled to make it to their destination in accordance with the timeline promised to customers. Able to forecast labor needs and adjust headcount to provide the company with the most efficient use of labor hours.
