My first position as a Registered Nurse, I had attained a position in Home-Health nursing, dealing with very sick adolescents, ranging from the ages of 2 to 16 years old. From that experience, I had gained great independence, along with skills of critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritizing certain nursing actions as complications arise. In addition, studying PRN (as needed) medications for when autonomic dysfunctions, such as seizures, occur, I am well equipped to revert the problem and restore health/safety of each patient.

This seasonal work involved identifying and eradicating invasive noxious weeds, both deadly and harmful, from government restoration sites and along with waterways throughout Clark County. My hard-work and dedication eventually led to my promotion of team lead for the management of invasive noxious weeds on the Lewis and Washougal rivers. Also, I had attained my spray license through the Washington State department of agriculture in the summer of 2013, which enabled my promotion to lead and manage a team working under my spray license.
