An internship program is required for the last semester to complete an Exercise Science degree at KU. Here, I learned from the head strength coach, Whitney Rodden, about lifting techniques and writing sport specific workout programs. I was responsible for following a given program to the MNU baseball team and carrying out their training. I also was expected to write a workout program for the women's volleyball team and to implement it as well. After these two main responsibilities, it was my job to assist coaching technique and perform sport testing for other athletic teams at MNU.
