I was introduced to technology and computers before I could even talk and have been investigating and creating with them from a young age. Throughout my life, I said I had wanted to be many things based on whatever interest I had at the time but my love for computers was constant. I say love but many times it's a love hate relationship (especially when working on someone else’s computer). When the time came to pick a degree and decide what I wanted to do in life, I thought long and hard before realizing that I had always been around technology. I had never been hesitant to be inquisitive and want to learn more about it, so why not focus my professional life around it.I chose to go to UC because it was so close to home and through the University I have been able to take many classes related to Information Technology. I wasn’t sure exactly what I would be interested in specifically for sometime, but as I have explored my options I’ve found that I have enjoyed working in Software Development and learning about applications. I want to continue to explore my field through academics and eventually co-oping at companies related to my field. I can’t wait to see what is in my future.
