Contracts Manager, Aftermarket
Current- Manage, coordinate, and collaborate with functional leadership to lead the legal strategy, development, and negotiations of aftermarket sales contracts, including Flight Training Simulator Devices, parts, equipment, and commercial engineering services, etc., to support Textron Aviation customers while assuring quality, delivery performance and price to provide maximum contributions to the Company's business goals and objectives. - Responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance to the Company's contract and risk management policy and procedures. Represent as Company single point of contact for the legal operations in Tampa and facilitate all contractual issues, provide interpretation of unique customer requirements for the Capture and Proposal process, draft specific contractual language to mitigate risk, and coordinate approval of all contract deviations with Company's legal counsel. - Manage contract responsibilities for Textron Aviation Inc.'s wholly-owned subsidiaries, McCauley Propeller Systems & Textron Aviation Services (representing over 11 domestic Service Centers), collaborating with each Operating Unit's leadership and program teams to review and finalize negotiations on their non-standard, federal and state gov't transactions; ensure compliance with all Customer obligations and Company policies and objectives. - Demonstrated ability to influence and deal tactfully and confidentially with internal and external customers at all organizational levels in a dynamic environment. Strong ability to think, operate and deliver at speed while managing multiple high-priority tasks within limited time constraints. Superior communication and negotiations skills (both oral and written); highly capable of anticipating informational needs of diverse audiences and tailor communications appropriately.
