As a designer, an exciting part of my process is the research I do in advance of a branding project. I like to learn about my client, their expectations, and the goals they have for their business in the future. Illustration is a strong component of my practice as an artist and designer. As I begin brainstorming ideas for a client, I start with my sketchbook. My sketchbook allows me to draw freely and openly with no limitations before refining designs digitally. Drawing is its own language and an important part of my portfolio.
