Experienced engineer and leader with a passion for creating and seeing the results of hard work. I'm constantly driven to always ask if something can be done better or more efficiently. Since graduating with a BS in Management with an emphasis in Computer Science, I've spend years learning first hand what success looks like. Starting out as an Associate Engineer I've risen to Director of Engineering, stopping on nearly every stone along the way. I know how to identify and resolve organizational issues. I let data do the talking for me and love solutioning tough problems with my peers. I often err on the side of over communication and want to ensure that we are on the same page. I'm an avid user advocate and know how meaningful a good experience is. I'm passionate about quality, and I would rather do something the right way, rather than the fastest way. However, I haven't forgotten my roots and I still enjoying jumping into the code and getting my hands dirty.My second passion is teaching and helping others. I strongly believe that straight-forward candor and a caring demeaner are the best tools for clear communication and personal improvement. My strive for excellence and collaboration is always pushing me and others around me to do and be better.
