Support Specialist (Feb-18 – July-18): Received inbound calls from clients. Troubleshot and resolved technical issues, distinguishing between user error and software bugs. Worked directly with healthcare providers and payers to process medical authorizations. Established a relationship and trust with many clients. Adapted to frequently changing software and user functions. Trained new support specialists. During layoffs of the department I was the only employee to be transferred to a new department. Data Analyst (July-18 – Feb-19): Updated, modified, analyzed and troubleshot very large, complex Excel files. Led a team of temporary employees on clinical question project I was responsible for. Assisted development team in debugging and optimizing their programs for internal use. Assisted product team with first hand knowledge of prior authorizations and first hand experience using the product.
