Grand Blanc Motorcars is a BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, and Sprinter dealership located in Grand Blanc, Michigan. I performed basic service on customer and dealership vehicles such as brakes, tires, and fluid changes (oil, coolant, transmission, differential). I also performed test drives and pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.

I worked in both the concession stand and as an usher. In the concession stand I ran a cash drawer from which I sold food, drinks, and tickets. Also between rushes I would stock items to make sure we wouldn't run out of them and clean anything that needed to be cleaned. As an usher we focused on keeping the hallways, bathrooms, and theaters clean for customers. I would also do refills which involved filling straws, lids, napkins and making sure all eight of the Coke Freestyles were operational. The Grand Blanc Theater had fifteen screens including a IMAX Theater that seats 300 people. On the theaters busiest days like Christmas, we would have 7,000-8,000+ people a day in attendance. This theater is one of the busiest in the company.

As a cafe worker I would make sure that drinks and food were stocked and looked presentable for customers. I would also help clean one of our many cafe spaces for people to come inside and eat and relax. During busy days I would run one of the two smaller cafes. This involved taking orders and making food like fries, chicken, and pizza. Also keeping my work space clean and sanitized so that food could be prepared.
