Oversees and maintains the Engineering Department's cross-connection control database; reviews and logs various District agreements, contracts and contract dollar amounts; reviews requests for easements, new service and tenant improvements and enters information into database; ensures compliance with District, federal, state and local backflow and cross-connection regulations.Processes District wastewater discharge applications; performs preliminary plumbing plan checks to evaluate need for backflow devices and grease interceptors; assists in plan review of improvement plans and engineering construction drawings for conformance to District standardsDrafts for management review a wide variety of materials on assigned issues, including "will serve letters," sanitation clearance requests and a variety of test results; collects background information on a variety of topics, and prepares recommendations and a variety of other supporting materials.Utilizes GIS, AutoCAD and other software tools to design and develop a wide variety of custom maps and other spatial products using standard and derived data; gathers, verifies, inputs, edits, maintains, and updates collected field attributes, tabular and spatial data; edits and performs quality assurance on data entities and attributes; produces standard maps such as distribution facility maps; verifies that maps reflect facilities and system modifications and additions as well as new parcel and account information;
