Growing up in a small town truly engrains the importance of personal relationships in a community, and I intend to bring that small-town feeling to my patients. I have 6 years' experience in an Optical and Optometric setting, with knowledge of every working part of a practice and experience performing those roles.My experience as a technician and eyewear specialist taught me the importance of the doctor-patient and doctor-staff relationship, as well as the importance of doctor-driven dispensing. I learned how to quickly create a rapport with patients, helped to educate them on ophthalmic lenses and optometric testing, and then learned how to finish and edge lenses for spectacle manufacturing.Ultimately, my goal is to establish myself as the top primary eyecare provider and leader in my community, with outreach to surrounding rural areas without access to proper optometric care.
