(Jr. June 2019 - Dec 2020; Mid Dec 2020 - Aug 2023)As a Web Developer at IPRO, I serve as part of the Platform UI team. I work with multiple small Scrum teams in an Agile environment, spending my time on various projects depending on business needs. My preferred development environment is Visual Studio Code on Mac OS.As Mid-level and Senior Developer, I was given the opportunity to mentor new teammates, helping with onboarding and acclimating them to our complex software environment.Here are some of my accomplishments:- Stepped in as a project's 'get it done' leader, providing essential guidance and expertise to streamline operations, resulting in successful project completion within a remarkable one-month timeframe. - Guided a development team to a successful migration of a critical, complex form from a legacy view into our Angular app. - Trained and mentored new members of the team, sharing product and development knowledge with them to ensure their success in the organization. - Developed a Node.js and Electron utility to scrape metadata from image files across Review cases to identify any affected by a data integrity flaw in IPRO software; this utility saved countless hours of manual review in large data sets. - Provided insight and training in all avenues of work, including code reviews, pair and mob programming sessions, and by writing thorough documentation on testing, philosophy, and workflows.

(Sep 2017 - June 2019 ) As an Escalation Engineer, I started getting serious about development and moving my career forward. Beyond my normal duties of: Serving as a dedicated PoC for sensitive clients, holding weekly meetings to provide updates on issues and their feature requests; being available after hours for my Tier 1 colleagues and clients alike; QCing resolved tickets to ensure they meet knowledge base standards; and providing role training and a being a buddy for new hires, I:- Learned how to use Electron and Node.js/NPM to build a custom application to help Escalation Engineers save up to 2 hours per Migration- Applied that knowledge to create another custom application to save customers and Support hundreds of hours to identify documents affected by a critical issue. - Hosted the SQL Bowl, training a department of 20 people on how to use SQL- Designed the logo for and applied custom CSS, Javascript, jQuery, MySql, and PHP to a vBulletin-based forum called the Ipro CommunityMy other achievements in this role include: - Served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Ipro Eclipse and Ipro-Q.- Assisted with the implementation of Jira by developing Ipro's Customer Portal

(Nov 2015 - Aug 2017) As an Installation Technician, I installed Ipro's ADD platform in client environments. This involved confirming a client's component and SQL servers were up to spec, re-configuring firewalls, updating NTFS permissions, and taking other actions as necessary during the process. Along the way, I would document any defects and their resolution to be communicated with the support and development teams afterward. At the end of the install, I updated server maps and environment information in our documentation to be used by Support on later calls if needed.I developed a C# application called AgentGen to replicate Eclipse Agents on a server. This tool saved the install team hours overall by automating the process of copying agents, updating their configuration files, and creating, configuring, and starting the Windows Services associated with the Agents.(Dec 2015 - Sep 2017) As a Technical Support Engineer I, I provided technical assistance and workflow guidance to law firms, service providers, and corporations over the phone or via web meeting. I documented instances of software defects and communicated these with the Support and Development teams as necessary. I assisted with development projects such as writing custom SQL scripts and procedures to increase QoL for users and fellow Support Engineers. I learned to support all of Ipro Tech's products: The ADD platform, IproQ, Eclipse SE, eScan-IT, and Classic Suite. I broke the norm and became the first Tier I to join the on-call rotation.
