My everlasting favorite sport... basketball.. In 2013 I was asked to be part of building a top level basketball team in Finland. In July 2013, the Helsinki Seagulls was born, and the mission then was to lift the city back to the national league - Korisliiga - where Helsinki shamefully had not qualified to play during few previous years. In 2014 it became reality and Helsinki Seagulls flies to next level. Helsinki Seagulls wants to offer it's fans the best entertainment around basketball. Our ambition is to produce entertaining and exciting game events. Seagulls is also serious about providing junior players in the area a path for advancing to the top level in a professional way. Yllätetään Yhteiskunta (Amaze Your Community) is a 4P (public-private-people-partnerships) concept that has been built since 2007. During its existence, the Amaze Your Community -group has, with hundreds of other people, innovated over 100 new ideas to help Finnish people. The topics of the ideas include ideas for young people's well-being and improving employment for young people. And also ideas for sustainable development, climate change and the development of Finnish export trade.My role is to lead the testing of the ideas in real life, learn from the first testings, and find ways to implement them everywhere in Finland.

I facilitated peer group sessions for Finnish directors and leaders. There were 2 types of meetings in my portfolio: a) peer group meetings for Finnish managing directors and b) internal development meetings (trainings) for Finnish corporations. The agendas of the meetings were around leading people, leading competitive advantage or leading partnerships. And, the meetings were 99% interactive so total opposite to seminars. The business in Finland grew significantly and the number of employees rose from 5 to 70.- being a member of the Finnish Executive Team from 1993 to 2003- being a memeber of the team that lauched two new card billing systems, started co-operation with Finnair Plus program and multiplied the number of customers in Finland- being part of sales group that signed and managed several Multinational Corporate Card agreements for Finland based corporations
