Second year finance and real estate student, focusing on commercial real estate. My passion for real estate and finance brought me to to the school of business at Virginia Tech University where I am working towards my degree in FREL. I am a Richmond, Virginia native with hopes of staying in the south upon graduation. I am motivated and eager to get into the real estate world wherever I can gain experience and knowledge to better my understanding of real estate outside of the classroom. During my time here at Virginia Tech I am absorbing up all the opportunities I get to learn more about real estate through classes, coursework, networking, and research, as well as enhancing my skills. I am particularly captivated by the investment side of real estate. The idea of conducting market research while assessing potential real estate excites me, and makes me anxious to get into real estate. Outside of academics, I am part of the men's club lacrosse team here at Virginia Tech. Being on this team has given me the opportunity to enhance my skills of communication, teamwork, and time management. Being on this team has also helped me build meaningful relationships with people. With these experiences and skills that I have gained, I believe that it will help become successful in real estate.
