My role as Director of Operations is a fast-paced and vital position that leads our company into an environment of innovation and growth. With the help of a professional and dedicated staff, our company has seen record growth in the past several months. Boudreaux's New Drug Store is now offering the ease of shipping personalized compounds to seven states within the U.S. As the pharmaceutical industry continues to push a one size fits all method for patient care, Boudreaux's is creating a commitment to fit the needs of each patient. To stay ahead of the industry, our pharmacy sends our technicians and pharmacists to a compounding school for an entire week of training and learning. Unlike typical retail pharmacies, our processes look and operate differently. Precision, Accuracy, and Patient Care are only some of the things that sets our pharmacy apart from the rest. Typically, my role as Director of Operations includes handling issues that may arise from patients, clinics, doctors, or pharmacy staff. Ensuring Boudreaux's New Drug Store is operating at its highest level of excellence is always my top priority. Some of my other responsibilities includes payroll and HR organization, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Balancing and Reconciling business accounts, coordinating with account executives on new leads, and ensuring doctors, nurses, estheticians, therapist, ENT specialist, and other pharmacist are able to turn to Boudreaux's with all patient needs. Fostering a positive workplace is the foundation of my leadership skills. My ability to communicate effectively with others and adapt to the changing needs of employees has outlined my strategy as a leader. Ensuring our team maintains a work-life balance that is flexible with each individual’s needs remains the focus of our company. After graduating high school, I received the Beaumont Foundation Legends Scholarship that covered my academic studies for four years. Using this support, I graduated with my Bachelor's of Business Administration - Finance with a 4.0 GPA. I was also awarded the Otto Plummer award signifying the highest grade point average within my school of business. Less than a year later, I graduated with my Masters in Hospital Administration from Lamar University's online graduate program. Finishing my education and working full-time creates many different challenges, however, it is a significant benefit to gain on the job experience while learning about key processes, crucial HIPPA laws, and numerous types of new technology. I am excited to continue my growth in healthcare and beyond.
