Organization : Nokia Project : mCAS Multiple convergent application suite on OSP The Alcatel-Lucent 8690 Open Services Platform provides comprehensive support for the rapid development of attractive services, and their introduction on the market ahead of competition. That way, the OSP enables telecom/network operators to generate additional revenue streams by providing new value-added services to their customers. mCAS for OSP is an add-on to the OSP. The mCAS program covers three main projects: 1. JAIN SLEE 1.1 container 2. JBOSS SMF server together with the web-based management console on JBoss Portal / WildFly3. mCAS for OSP IDE which is built on Eclipse. This development environment is used to develop JAIN SLEE components but also mCAS components.Responsibilities: Involved in test scoping, test estimation, test Planning, test case preparation, manual test execution, defect management, logging test artefacts, deliverable sign off. Manage and assign defects for resolution & recommending remedial action. Ensure content and structure of all test documents is documented and maintained as per Alcatel standards. Practiced Agile Methodology and working on various sprints interacting with cross functional teams. Involved in Integration, Regression, Sanity testing and Ad hoc Testing Understanding the business functionality, business requirements and technical specifications. Secure, organize, and maintain test environment with large volumes of data. Involved in Application deployment and performing test execution. Support testing activities which includes review of test cases and test conditions, walkthrough of test cases with Dev. Preparing Test Reports for Functional testing, Load testing, Overload testing, Giga testing and Benchmark Testing. Experience deriving thorough test sets/matrix to ensure good product quality.
