The objective was to optimize the operational efficiency of a waste-incineration plant.Key highlights of my role and accomplishments include:• Conducted in-depth exploratory data analysis, including seasonality, trend, and pattern analysis, and implementing robust data cleaning techniques to handle complexities within the time series dataset.• Developed and compared multiple machine learning models to accurately forecast the calorific value of waste.• Built a resilient data extraction and transformation pipeline for seamless data integration for the forecasting model.• Successfully integrated the selected forecasting model within the WasteAnt software pipeline. • Additionally, developed a level 0 pipeline for machine learning pipelines, encompassing the entire lifecycle of monitoring model's performance, model retraining and deployment.• Designed and developed dashboards utilising Grafana to monitor and visualise model's performance.• Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to understand specific requirements, ensuring alignment with the goal. I have worked on the Single Point positioning system project. Here I conducted a study to analyse the different methods used to calculate the coordinates of a position and the variables that could affect the accuracy of the coordinates.
