Tanuj Vyas is an independent Indian filmmaker known for his work in writing and directing. Born on October 26, 1993, he has made significant contributions to the film industry through his production house, Legend DreamWorks. Vyas ventured into filmmaking with his directorial debut, "The Legend of Kabira" (2014), a short film that delves into the aspirations of a young child aiming for legendary status. His subsequent works include "Common Student" (2015), a political drama set in a university student union, "Jhoothe Taare" (2016), a children's drama influenced by the teachings of OSHO, and "Think Power" (2017), an experimental short film exploring human intelligence.Vyas's films have received recognition on the international stage, with "Jhoothe Taare" being selected in eight international film festivals and "Think Power" in five. His feature film debut, "Namak (Salt)" (2020), a crime thriller drama in the Rajasthani language, garnered critical acclaim and won four awards, including Best Film, at the Rajasthan International Festival 2022. The film was released on the STAGE app Ott platform. Vyas's upcoming project is "DJ Marwar" (2024), a Rajasthani feature film that promises to further showcase his storytelling prowess and directorial skills.In addition to his filmmaking ventures, Vyas has made significant contributions to the entertainment sector. He served as a Creative Associate and Executive Manager for renowned actor Annu Kapoor, contributing to various projects. Vyas also showcased his writing talent by crafting 48 episodes for India's top radio show, "Suhana Safar with Annu Kapoor", which aired on 92.7 Big FM.Furthermore, Vyas held the position of Content Head at STAGE App, Rajasthan's pioneering OTT platform. In this role, he curated and presented content in diverse Rajasthani dialects, contributing to the platform's unique and culturally rich offerings.
