For Me, art has always been a form of expression. The ability to tell intricate stories and convey messages through imagery has been a meaningful aspect of my journey as an artist. Although I have started out as a fashion designer, my love for painting soon found a prominent position in my career. As a proud Bengali I have emersed myself in my culture, I draw inspiration from my heritage and upbringing. My work explores nature and floral themes with roses taking the centre stage. Roses pay homage to the memory of my mother and represent love. I do enjoy working on abstract paintings; a process that I find soothing and meditative. My oeuvre boasts of bold and colourful works. I do not shy away from experimenting with brighter hues .
