Executive Director
CurrentAs the Executive Director of the New Lynn Coalition, I strategically lead initiatives in affordable housing, racial justice, diverse hiring, and wage theft prevention, overseeing a consortium of 20 member organizations. My role involves collaborative engagement with labor unions, political figures, and campaigns to advocate for policies aligned with our comprehensive 5-Point Platform. At the core of our community-centric approach is the Lynn Community Enrichment Program (LCEP), where, in my capacity as supervisor, I ensure the seamless operation of a program that empowers adults through knowledge-sharing, addressing unemployment, and skill gaps. Concurrently, I manage the Night School initiative, extending educational opportunities beyond traditional hours to meet the unique needs of the working-class community. Under my leadership, the Grocery Delivery Program has evolved into a vital resource, providing essential items to over 750 households monthly, particularly those not covered by other aid programs. In addition to program oversight, I spearhead grant writing, financial management, donor relations, and fundraising endeavors to ensure the sustained financial health of our organization. Looking ahead, proactive measures are underway to enhance and expand the Night School program, adapting to the evolving needs of the community and exemplifying our commitment to addressing the distinct challenges faced by the working class. Beyond these initiatives, my advocacy extends to promoting diversity and inclusion in both municipal jobs and education, recognizing their transformative impact. In summary, as the Executive Director, I lead a dynamic team in driving initiatives that address core community issues, fostering innovation, and inclusivity.
