As a master's student in biotechnology at Northeastern University, I am passionate about molecular biology and drug discovery, especially in the biopharmaceutical sector. My goal is to work in biologics R&D and contribute to the development of novel and effective therapies for various diseases. I am currently looking for a co-op or a summer internship opportunity for 4-6 months during May to December 2024, where I can apply my skills and knowledge and learn from industry experts.I have a strong academic background and hands-on experience in biotechnology, bioengineering, and related fields. I graduated with a BTech in Bioengineering from MIT ADT University in 2021, where I learned the fundamentals of bioprocess engineering, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. I completed an internship at National Chemical Laboratory, where I worked on a review paper on antiviral drugs and their molecular structures. I curated and analyzed literature and maintained a database of 3D molecular models of drugs for further cheminformatics analysis. Additionally, I trained in advanced topics such as artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning, and cloud computing at Tech Mahindra, where I proposed a project on Covid-19 variant predictions. I have skills in gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, biotechnology, biochemical assays, and I am eager to learn more and expand my horizons.
