• Providing direct legal representation on the Center for Immigration Legal and Support Services’ removal defense team to vulnerable women, families, and unaccompanied minors, who are often fleeing persecution, gender-specific trauma, and/or gang-based violence, in humanitarian applications including asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile visas, and adjustment of status. • Conducting consultations, drafting and filing persuasive immigration applications, motions, and briefs, diligently preparing clients for interviews and testimony, and successfully advocating before the San Francisco Immigration Court and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services’ Asylum Office.
