I am currently a Master of Public Health (MPH) candidate, specializing in global health, with a focus on infectious diseases, vaccines, and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). My academic journey has deepened my passion for understanding global health challenges and exploring solutions that improve public health outcomes, particularly in underserved communities and in response to emerging health threats.I previously worked as a consultant at an emergency management and homeland security firm where my work focused primarily within the public health and healthcare sectors. I played an integral role in disaster preparedness initiatives by developing planning documents, strategic plans, and response evaluations for public sector clients across the country. I have been lucky enough to work with individuals of various backgrounds and experiences and this has greatly influenced my open-minded approach to my work. I am a detail oriented individual who works well in collaborative environments and believes that every success and failure is a great learning opportunity. I have been able to develop and fine tune my technical and soft skills through my interactions with my colleagues and clients.
