Project Summary:The "Establishment of 160 Upazilas ICT Training and Resource Centre for Education (UITRCE) Phase II" project aims to enhance ICT education and resources across 160 Upazilas in Bangladesh. As part of this project, Taihan Cable & Solution Co., Ltd. is also responsible for the construction of buildings in each of the 160 Upazilas to house the ICT Training and Resource Centres.As the Contract Manager for this project, My key duties include:• Manage overseas shipments, facilitate customs clearance and source reliable clearing and forwarding agents to streamline the import/export process.• Coordinate pre-shipment inspections and arrange logistics services from port to warehouse/destination, ensuring efficient transport.• Review and verify BOQs for accuracy in quantities and specifications, ensuring alignment with the project scope.• Analyze market trends to develop both long-term and short-term purchasing strategies, predicting material needs.• Send RFQ/RFP, evaluate supplier proposals based on price, quality, and credentials, maintaining continuous communication to track progress.• Draft, renew, and amend contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal standards. • Negotiate terms, and pricing with suppliers, ensuring clarity on deliverables, payment schedules, warranties, insurance, and penalties for non-performance.• Procure materials and services, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.• Oversee warehouse operations for ICT equipment and construction materials, ensuring optimal storage and accessibility.• Generate and manage project reports, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Site Instructions (SI), and Confirmation of Information (COI) to ensure compliance and effective project management.• Organize and streamline documentation, reviewing and managing contracts, and official communications with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
