Developing data-driven, intelligent, interactive, and accessible software is something I am deeply passionate about. I believe that great ideas can change the world, and sometimes a few lines of beautifully written code can bring those ideas closer to reality. I am excited to be on this journey to hone the craft of bringing ideas to life, and look forward to seeing where it leads me.

Software Development EngineerAmazon Jun 2021 - Jul 2021Seattle, Wa, UsWorked with the Amazon Ads Exchange (AAX) team on streamlining the process of onboarding a new ads source and instituting a way to collect analytics on the total time spent on the process. I worked on creating a thorough standard operation protocol (SOP) for source onboarding to decrease the amount of time required to add and configure a new source. -
Software EngineerFactset Jul 2019 - Apr 2021Norwalk, Connecticut, Us• Worked on designing a Point-in-Time database that incorporated post-processed company/securities data generated from the raw archived data of past twenty years• Created robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs to make data concurrently accessible to a large number of clients• Worked as the engineer on-call for production related issues on a rotational basis• Developed an internally used product ground-up using .NET, PostgreSQL, GraphQL and Vue.js to maintain thousands of security-linked metadata, to provide a reliable UI for maintaining these records, and to expose the data through APIs serving a large throughput of clients• Worked on creating a new data workflow pipeline using Python (pandas, numpy, sqlalchemy) that improved the runtime of existing ingest/update jobs by more than 20%• Optimized memory footprints of Python workflows dealing with anywhere between 10 - 20 million database rows by half that resulted into significantly cutting the cloud storage cost• Conducted lunch-interviews and partook in interviewer panels for engineering applicants -
Technical Support SpecialistUniversity Of Connecticut Sep 2017 - May 2019Storrs, Ct, Us• Designed and maintained the websites for University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts and Benton Museum• Administered the content management system for Benton Museum's record database• Provided IT support to faculties, classrooms, and exhibitions to ensure a reliable technical platform• Trained new hires to get them up-to-speed with the internally used software and technologies -
Research AssistantUniversity Of Connecticut Sep 2016 - Aug 2018Storrs, Ct, UsI collaborated with Dr. John Ayers on researching better performing growth-platforms for semiconductor devices. In my work, I simulated and analyzed novel growth platforms for InGaAs/GaAs semiconductor devices. I implemented numerous simulation algorithms on MATLAB to analyze chirped and unchirped superlattice structures and quantify their performances. We simulated characteristics such as the average and surface strain, the surface in-plane lattice constant and threading dislocation density profiles for different superlattice structures. From our studies, we showed that - Chirped superlattices can serve as growth-platform with a 7%-46% Indium composition- Compositionally-chirped superlattices allow a wide range of surface in-plane lattice constant for the growth of devices while incorporating alternating local strains to enable dislocation filtering. - Thickness-modulated chirped superlattice can outperform unchirped superlattices and linearly-graded layers as dislocation filters.Based on the research, I authored four research papers that were published in IJHSES CMOC Journal, Journal of the Electrochemical Society (ECS), and International Journal of High Speed Electronics and Systems. I also presented research posters on our findings at the MIT IEEE Undergraduate Research Technology Conference in 2017 and at the Connecticut Optoelectronics and Microelectronics (CMOC) conference in 2017 and 2019.Find my publications on Google Scholar:http://scholar.google.com/citations?user=VLMVgH4AAAAJ -
Reu FellowNational Science Foundation (Nsf) May 2018 - Aug 2018Alexandria, Va, UsDuring this summer research opportunity, I investigated the use of Software Defined Radio (SDR) for real-time communication systems under the supervision of Dr. Shengli Zhou and Dr. Song Han at the University of Connecticut.I worked on developing a wireless ad-hoc network system capable of inter-computer message transfer by implementing IEEE 802.15.4 with AES Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) security protocol on an SDR platform. I used C++ (Boost, SWIG) to program signal-processing blocks on GNURadio to build the system's PHY and MAC layer. Python was used to implement the APP layer for the network. -
