Hi! I lead the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Data Unit, which operates a physically isolated computing environment (the MOM Data Lab) for Singapore public officers to analyse and leverage workforce data to innovate new services. Previously I led behavioural insights, service design and data science projects in MOM’s in-house innovation lab (Co-Lab). And before that, I worked on public funding strategy at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) to create a conducive innovation and enterprise environment. Off-work, I am the creator of: • Schemes SG (https://schemes.sg), an AI-driven portal allowing users to find social assistance by searching in natural language. I was awarded the 2022 SCS Tech Leader Award for my work on Schemes SG.• AI Home Design (https://aihomedesign.co), a social app tapping on generative AI to create interior design impressions. Service design and innovation project on food rationing operations in rental estates. - Designed and prototyped the first choice-driven food rationing model in 2013 to nudge households to decrease wastage and favour healthier choices. - Reduced food rations wastage by 95% for pilot precinct of 5 rental blocks and reached 296 households in testbed area.
