I lead the processing and analysis of multi-modal data at the Social Cognitive and Affective Neurodevelopment (SCAN) Laboratory at NYU Langone Health. My work encompasses neuroimaging anatomical and functional data, physiological data, and biological data. I studied Neuroscience and Statistics and Data Science at UC Santa Barbara, and I am passionate about leveraging data science and artificial intelligence to advance healthcare accessibility, delivery, and outcomes.In my role, I develop MRI data processing and analysis pipelines using advanced statistical methods and deep learning techniques, such as convolutional neural networks. I also manage the integration of wearable physiological data into an API on the AWS platform and identify key predictors to generate AI-based predictive models of women’s physical and mental health.Currently, I lead an exploratory project to analyze dynamics in fetal brain networks, applying group-level spatial ICA for network extraction and sliding-window techniques to analyze temporal changes in these networks. Additionally, I collaborate on precision medicine-focused exploratory analyses, including big data clustering, latent class analysis, and regression, to push the boundaries of neuroscience research and its applications in healthcare.In my free time, I volunteer as a tennis coach for children with autism with the organization ACEing Autism, where I served as the Program Director in Santa Barbara for three years.I am dedicated to advancing the integration of data science and AI in understanding the brain and improving human health.
