With a strong passion in this discipline, I took on this opportunity to work under Dr. Margaret as this will allow me to contribute in the field of Psychiatry, Neuroscience, and Psychology. I will be working under the supervision of Dr. Krysta and Dr.Sherain for the upcoming project this year and then doing a research course. I am driven to make positive and impactful contributions in this lab. I am eager to expand my social network and build novel connections to discover new opportunities.

As a part of McMaster University, an organization that has implemented its vision since May 2020. Fearless Minds is a mental health advocacy group that focuses on alleviating mental health issues especially due to the current unprecedented times due to the pandemic situation. Due to the pandemic, youth is experiencing additional mental health challenges. Social distance can make people feel isolated and lonely. This has made it harder for many of us to approach someone and let our heart out. Our vision is to give a message to our community that a society where mental wellness is the foundation of a healthy community and hence, trying to break the stigma of mental illness by working together will alleviate mental health issues and aid in promoting well-being for everyone. Our goal is to focus on improving the quality for those with various mental health issues by helping people find resources and giving support.
