Hello, world! My name is Tanya and welcome to my page. Summarizing myself in a few paragraphs can be difficult but I'll try my best! Transformation has been the soundtrack to my life. Years ago, I began writing and performing poetry. After graduating high school, I attended Rhode Island College, where I engulfed myself in Spanish Language/Culture and Theatre. From then on, I fine-tuned my people skills and leadership skills by working in the Retail industry. Now, here we are! I am now a UX/UI Designer with all these combined passions flowing through me still. I understand that life is a rollercoaster ride. The technology we interact with on a day to day can have an effect on our experience. My goal is to create designs that people can relate and connect to. I love helping others in need, and my hope is that my work can somehow inspire and assist on this crazy journey called Life.

    LOVE MY SKIN This is a personal project. This project is currently in development. This mobile app allows users that suffer from various skin conditions to log their symptoms daily. If the user chooses to, they can receive uplifting messages through this app.TEAM DESIGN PROJECT This project was a team effort of 8 members. We worked with a client that was interested in creating a platform for social media influencers to promote brands, and for online shoppers to discover new products through the influencers. My role in this project was storytelling and conducting user interviews and usability tests. CHI CITY MOBILE This project is a mobile app that allows users to track bus schedule information for a fictional Mid-Western city. Through user research, I was able to identify specific features to include within this app, that users would find helpful This app was built using Figma.
